Audit Conference 2023 – On Demand

Keep up with the changes impacting the audit and assurance profession, and learn more about new directions in business, technology and management.

This year the Audit Conference, Accounting Conference and the Not-For-Profit Conferences came together to create a learning opportunity unlike any other for accounting and audit professionals across Australia and New Zealand.

The Audit Conference 2023 On Demand package consists of an industry lead panel discussion on the key issues and changes for audit and assurance, in both business and the not-for-profit sector, technical sessions including the latest changes in audit standards, ASIC and AUASB and IAASB as well as the legal changes impacting finance.

Sustainability assurance will help businesses to better manage their use of our environment, however it requires audit professionals to know what to do. Here we give you clarity on how to get started in this new area of responsibility.

Our industry is facing significant challenges in attracting and retaining talent, and this conference includes a suite of sessions to help. From finding and keeping the right people, to leading well including how to run an effective audit practice with hybrid working.

To do more in business, we need to leverage technology more and the program includes sessions on cyber security, and an intermediate-advanced session on analytics in audit to ensure that your own work is being performed in an efficient and robust manner – work smarter, not harder.

This recording includes three not-for-profit sessions. From an update on the legal duties and how to identify pitfalls in the sector; to the risks of key staff working in the sector and how to measure social impact including sustainability.
