This session discusses the various components of the AML/CFT regime. It also describes the audit and record keeping requirements. Highlights include:

  • Annual reporting to the DIA and 2-yearly Audit requirements incl who can be an Auditor
  • Suspicious Activity and Prescribed Transaction definitions and reporting
  • Clarifying some aspects of running the programme (ID and address verification, treatment of tax transfers and other captured activities incl disbursements, wire transfers)
  • Record keeping requirements
