Alena Bennett CA
Obsessed with unleashing the power of purpose, Alena is a speaker, author, mentor, team facilitator, leadership coach and Chartered Accountant who loves to get in front of people and provoke conversations around issues that matter. She runs a Leading Women in Finance Network and is the author of the leadership book, “Meaning Matters: Results Beyond the Numbers”, written for women in finance. Alena is the go-to for CFOs and their teams looking for next-level success.
Cat has vast experience in the banking industry both here in New Zealand and the UK. Cat has led teams within the commercial and consumer space leading teams in both for a number of years, and is currently the Head of Consumer Banking for Central Region at Westpac. In this role she is responsible for the Westpac branch network from Wellington up to the Bay of Plenty. Outside of work she is kept busy by her four teenage girls!
Cat has spent the last 20 years speaking around New Zealand and overseas, dedicating herself to the study of human behaviour and mental wellbeing. Since Covid, there has been an increased demand to speak in schools and workplaces about how to manage stress, anxiety and depression. One thing that unites it all is what makes us tick as humans - how can we find happiness and fulfillment, by understanding ourselves and others, and creating greater connections.
Claire is a qualified nutritionist and best-selling author who has been working in the health and wellness industry for over 15 years. She regularly features on Breakfast TV, Fair Go, and Newstalk ZB. Claire’s approach is practical, realistic and down to earth. She juggles her work and two businesses alongside two little boys who are 3 and 6, so she really knows how to walk the talk when it comes to living well with a full on life!

Kirsten (known as KP) is the Institute of Directors Chief Executive. She is a qualified lawyer and a Chartered Fellow of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand, member of the Executive Committee of the Global Network of Directors Institutes (GNDI) and was previously Chair of the Wellington Homeless Women’s Trust. She is currently Chair of the Ethical Leadership Advisory Board. With extensive governance and leadership experience, she is actively involved in community initiatives.
A strong advocate of diversity, KP was one of the founding members of Global Women’s ‘Champions for Change’, a group of senior executives and directors who commit to diversity in the workplace. She is also a founding member of WiSPA, an organisation promoting women in sport, and mentors a number of business leaders.

Petris has worked in accounting, law, academia, banking, business and training. She has consulted to government and industry and published several books and hundreds of papers. She has studied commerce, law, coaching, NLP and hypnosis and is passionate about helping professionals thrive and succeed.
Rhondalynn is the founder of businest®, a lawyer (Law Society of Alberta, Canada, 1993), chartered accountant (Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants 1995, In-depth Tax Specialist 1997), business coach, best-selling author, & keynote speaker specialising in cash flow, pricing value, and making the shift to advisory.
At 47 this year, Shelly is living a dream she didn’t know she had – helping people live more fully, more authentically, and more in their truth. She does this with a lot of laughs, her traditional Māori chin tattoo, and a fair amount of curse words sprinkled liberally through everything she does, even her website. Shelly’s known as a writing trainer for government departments and technical professionals, but her story is one of loving self through dead husbands, depression, obesity, single parenting, running an #accidentallyawesome business, and even, much to her equal dismay and delight, grandparenting.
Tupe held several senior roles in the public service before being appointed the chief philanthropic officer of the Michael and Suzanne Borrin Foundation which funds legal research, education and scholarship. The Samoan/Fijian Kiwi is the creator of an independent web series called Misadventures of a Pacific Professional. The award-nominated series tackles unconscious bias, diversity and inclusion. Her chat show, Talanoa with Tupe, showcases successful Pacific peoples.
In 2020, Tupe was recognised as one of the University of Auckland’s 40 under 40 and won the diversity category in the New Zealand Women of Influence Awards.
