Wellington Financial Services SIG: Infratil Update - The Purchase of Vodafone NZ

The Vodafone NZ acquisition is a large one for New Zealand and it will have a major bearing on Infratil’s future.
If you have an interest in learning more about this transaction and what it might mean for Infratil and telecommunications in general in New-Zealand, then come and meet Tim Brown who will tell you everything about it.
In May, Infratil announced that it had agreed to acquire Vodafone NZ for $3.4 billion in a 50/50 joint venture with Canadian infrastructure investor, Brookfield Asset Management.
Infratil has said that Vodafone NZ will complement its existing investment in Canberra Data Centres.
Wellington based Morrison & Co manages Infratil on behalf of shareholders. Tim Brown, the well-known and long-standing executive of Morrison & Co, will discuss the Vodafone NZ deal and what it means for Infratil. He will also update you on the Infratil investment portfolio.
