Waikato International Womens Day Lunch 2019

Join us for an inspirational high tea lunch with Renae Smart (Managing Director, Civtec) and Anna Connell (columnist and commentator) to celebrate the 2019 International Women's Day.

Embracing the 2019 theme #balanceforbetter International Women's Day brings people together to celebrate the achievements of women. We aim to inspire, motivate and unite friends and colleagues, whilst also making a call to action for accelerating gender balance in the workplace.
This years event will take place in the beautiful Zaal space at the newly opened Zenders Cafe & Venue and they will be serving a delicious high tea lunch on the day.

We will hear from two local women who have achieved outstanding results in their respective areas, both with a common theme of being strong, successful women in the industry.

Renae is an inspiration on how to balance career and business aspirations while having the lifestyle they want for their family .

Anna Connell is a columnist and commentator on a range of issues and regularly writes about diversity, gender equality and the future of work. In late 2018 Anna was appointed to the Waikato Rugby Union board just ahead of the NPC season - a rare opportunity being one of two women on a rugby union board.
