Eliminating time out of the month-end reporting process is the first step along the journey to becoming a lean finance team.

Content Description

Finance teams are spending far too much time on month-end reporting. The monthly report are often merely memorandums of information, taken home by the executives in their briefcase, and only given a cursory scan.

If your month-end takes more than three days, and the monthly management reports are too large, and not error free, then this is a must attend webinar series.

Session Highlights:

Session 1: How to get your current month-end immediately to day three

  • Fast reporting practices – ten lean practices to achieving a quick month-end.
  • Winning agile practices (“post-it” re-engineering, daily month-end stand-up scrum meetings, Kanban boards).
  • Simple quality assurance steps to ensure error free reporting.

Session 2: Further refinements for seamless error free month-end reporting

  • Longer term month-end reporting changes that will reap significant benefits.
  • The budget holders heads-up report in the last week.
  • Eliminating Excel routines for seamless error free reporting.
  • Locking-in continuous innovation within the finance team.

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this webinar you will be able to:

  • Prioritise completing your next month-end by three working days.
  • Employ agile techniques to re-engineer processes.
  • Compose a plan to embed longer term changes to further improve the month-end reporting process.
  • Prioritise which processes need replacing with more robust solutions.

Reduce the time spent by the finance team and budget holders in month-end reporting by removing practices and methods that lead to reporting errors and locking-in continuous innovation within the finance team.
