Part 2: Holidays Act Update

Knowing what to pay and when is essential to comply with the Holidays Act. Attend this session to:

  • Refresh yourself on key concepts such as relevant and average daily pay and ordinary.
  • Weekly pay or average weekly earnings.
  • Understand when exceptions apply, such as cashing up annual holidays.
  • Discuss the Domestic Violence Bill and other proposed changes that impact on payroll.
  • Know more about how a review of Holidays Act workability could impact on future law and what creating an awards system would do.
