Communicating with Impact - eLearning

This course will equip you with a powerful set of interpersonal skills that enable you to have greater impact by communicating more effectively with colleagues and customers.


During the course you will discover key insights about the importance of communicating effectively to enhance your impact in the workplace. You will explore the personal and practical needs people bring to interactions and be introduced to a framework known as the interaction essentials that will help you meet these needs.

You will be introduced to five key principles which enable you to attend to the personal needs of discussions and build rapport and trust when interacting. You will also be introduced to the interaction guidelines which provide structure and focus to ensure our interactions lead to the desired practical outcomes.

Finally, you will also explore best practices in providing feedback and be introduced to the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) approach to providing positive and developmental feedback.
