Building effective cash flow forecasting models isn’t easy. There are a number of different types of Cash Flow Models that corporates, SMEs, Government and Non-Profit organisations can use to manage their cash flow forecasting processes over the short, medium and longer terms. The decision of what model to use is based on the underlying organisation’s needs, appetite for growth and risks, and what view management requires of upcoming cash positions. This can often make it difficult to decide which model to use and how to build it.
