Build personal resilience for better coping with the day-to-day pressures, problems and responsibilities in a working environment.


This activity will provide you with an understanding of what resilience is, and the ability to identify when you need to call on this valuable skill to enhance your physical and mental wellbeing, plus your work performance. 

The key habits and behaviours involved in personal resilience will be covered, assisting you to build the emotional maturity to manage difficult situations and change. 

Applying the approaches and techniques you learn will give you the tools to remain motivated and focused in the face of setbacks and opposition, and, to manage negative thought processes constructively. 

From a practical perspective, you will learn how to manage your time, competing requests and the ability to prioritise effectively, and as such, reduce your stress levels.

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this activity, you will be able to:

  • Develop positive action plans for managing pressure and stress.
