Building Knowledge Series: Building a High Performance Team

Tuesday 1 September 2020
Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand are pleased to invite you to our latest Building Knowledge series event, Building a High Performance Team - Thriving in the Face of Stress & Distraction.
In most workplaces stress and distraction prevent teams from performing at their best. In this session, Carl Davidson, Chief Social Scientist Research First Ltd, and Dave Sewell, NeuroLeadership Researcher and Published Author, team up and tap into the latest brain science to explain why that happens and what you can do about it.

You will learn how to help you and your team members handle the distractions and become more productive and better team players that can make better decisions faster.

We look forward to seeing you there.
8 - 9am
Registration starts at 7.30am
Carl Davidson
Chief Social Scientist Research First Ltd.

Carl has worked in market and social research for nearly 30 years. For the last decade or so he has been the Chief Social Scientist at Research First Ltd (who, as the Twitter summary puts it, is a company of ‘market researchers, behaviour scientists, strategic thinkers, and good buggers’). Alongside all that practical experience, Carl has written a number of books about research and consultation practice in New Zealand.

Dave Sewell
NeuroLeadership Researcher

Dave has been fascinated for years by why some leaders are really successful whilst others aren’t. His research around high performing teams, in particular what causes dysfunctional teams, bullying and office politics is at the leading edge of our understanding. Combining the neuron science and how we did things in our ancient ancestors times, provides a completely new approach to leadership that everyone can connect with and understand.
